Cookie policy

Which cookies this site uses and why.

Necessary

Always on; they make the site and the portal work and keep them safe.

  • ct_consent: your cookie choice and the version of this policy you answered (180 days).
  • __Host-ct_website_session: your signed-in session on this site (the customer portal, and the CMS for staff), until you close the browser and at most 1 hour, then renewed through the sign-in.
  • __Host-ct_authentication, __Host-ct_authentication_*: your session at CaptureTech sign-in (until you close the browser, at most 12 hours; the sign-in steps at most 15 minutes).
  • __Host-ct_trust: only when you choose “trust this browser” at sign-in (30 days).
  • __Host-ct_{app}_af (on this site __Host-ct_website_af, at the sign-in __Host-ct_authentication_af): protects forms against forgery (until you close the browser).
  • __Host-ct_{app}_corr.* and __Host-ct_{app}_nonce.*: protect the trip to CaptureTech sign-in and back; removed once you are signed in (at most 15 minutes, the nonce at most 1 hour).
  • __Host-ct_{app}_stepup: only for staff sent to the sign-in for a stronger second factor, so they are not sent round again (5 minutes).
  • .AspNetCore.Culture: the language you chose for the portal (1 year).
  • ct_promo (local storage): that you closed the announcement bar.
  • __Host-ct_{app}_session, on each application's own address (RMA Portal, Order Portal, Service Desk, Field Service, License Manager, CRM): your session in that application (at most 1 hour, then renewed through the sign-in). In the Order Portal also ct_orders_company, the company you work for there (180 days); in the CRM, for staff, crm_view, the view they chose (1 year).
  • Only for CaptureTech staff in the CMS: ct_cms_lang, the CMS's language (1 year), and ct_linkedin_oauth, only while an administrator connects our LinkedIn page (10 minutes).

Statistics (with consent)

  • ct_vid: your visitor id for our own statistics and company recognition, only after consent for statistics or marketing (180 days, like your choice; removed when you withdraw it).
  • ct_sid (session storage): groups your page views into one visit for our own statistics; gone when you close the tab.
  • Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*, up to 2 years) and Microsoft Clarity (_clck, _clsk, up to 1 year): how visitors use the site.

Without consent for statistics your browser sends nothing to our own statistics, and no visit is counted.

Marketing (with consent)

  • Google Ads (_gcl_*, 90 days): measures which ads lead to a visit or a request.
  • ct_ads:* (session storage): that this tab already reported a Google Ads conversion for a page, so it is reported only once; gone when you close the tab.
  • LinkedIn Insight Tag (li_fat_id, 30 days, and LinkedIn's own cookies on linkedin.com, such as bcookie, bscookie, lidc, li_sugr, UserMatchHistory and AnalyticsSyncHistory, from one day to one year, as LinkedIn sets them): measures which LinkedIn ads lead to a visit or a request; a request then also goes to LinkedIn as a conversion, with your e-mail address only as a hash.
