What is NIS2 and what does it mean for your organisation?
The Belgian NIS2 law makes directors personally responsible for cyber security. Here is what you need to know.
NIS2 extends cyber security obligations to medium and small organisations in essential and important sectors, and to their suppliers. In Belgium the Centre for Cybersecurity Belgium (CCB) supervises.
What changes?
- Directors are personally liable for compliance.
- Incidents must be reported within 24 hours.
- Continuous monitoring and detection are mandatory.
How to prepare
Take the NIS2 impact assessment, have a security assessment performed and consider 24/7 monitoring with MicroSOC.
